Literally one day after I fix the transmission, the Sienna throws a CEL. Well, at least I now have an excuse to buy a code reader.

If you cleaned the MAF or whatever, you may want to make sure you put everything back correctly before you buy a code reader.

I did. The MAF is in the right way, the connections are good, the clamps are tight, the filter is in, and everything’s bueno.

I’ve been looking at getting one as well. My Mazda3 has only thrown two codes (the second was earlier this week, still on) but it seems no one has a code reader that actually works on it. We tried the same reader that we got to work last time and it gave us nothing.
Got any recommendations?

The newer Autel stuff should work.

alternatively you can go to a parts store and have them scan if for you for free.
I’m not sure what you have in the great white north, but here in the land of the free, Autozone, O’Reilies, Napa will all do this for you

If Lordco doesn’t, I’m SOL.
